Design With a Soft Side.
As a production artist and graphic designer I have designed numerous wedding suites over the years. Using my familiarity of wedding design and photography, I created our Save The Date cards with the goal of conveying an airy autumn feeling.
The Process
Step 1.
Starting with the photography, I set up our photoshoot and had a friend shoot the final shots. Camera settings, framing and color grading were set up by me.
Step 2.
Next was personalizing the card with vector artwork. The philodendron illustrations were derived from a scanned sketch.
Step 3.
Final layout. Last step was mail merging the recipients from a mailing list.
